2019 – photo 235 of 365 – hornworm caterpillar | very squish…

very squishy and about 4-inches long. First one I have seen this year; the hornworm caterpillar.This will eventually be a sphynx moth with a wingspan around 6-inches. It’s unfortunate they love grape leaves but these are rare in our area so he gets to be a sphynx moth someday.   you want more info?
