A 100 percent tariff would double the price of wines in shops and restaurants, with disastrous ripple effects… Nobody knows exactly what the outcome will be, or when it will be decided. The administration has a pattern of issuing dire threats and not always following up. Even so, the prospect has conjured up a pervasive feeling of fragility.”
